The Michigan Land Use Institute honored Denis Pierce with the Impact Award at the organization’s annual Milliken Reception on July 27, 2012. Upon presenting the award, MLUI Executive Director Hans Voss said, “Denis came to us in 2012 with one question: ‘What do you need to be a more effective organization?’ In the years since, his efforts to help us answer that basic but essential question demonstrated his commitment to help MLUI over the long haul. It was an act of extraordinary insight and generosity that has indeed made us stronger and more resilient.”

President Denis Pierce received the 2011 Affordable Housing Leadership Award from the Illinois Mortgage Bankers Association (IMBA). IMBA created the Affordable Housing Leadership Award to honor individuals and organizations who have demonstrated achievement in increasing affordable housing opportunities throughout Chicagoland.  

On March 14, 2012, The Illinois Mortgage Bankers Association’s Affordable Housing Committee presented Denis Pierce with its Affordable Housing Leadership Award.
